satan is damned

i was just reading thru the last entry and just want to comment on the thing about Satan being evil. yesterday, O was saying that her friend, harifume, said it would be “perfect” if everyone including Satan was saved by You. and O was also kind of agreeing with it.. but i felt in my heart there was something wrong with it, and i said so but yet i cldn’t really articulate what, besides saying that Satan is really evil, and the opposite of goodness which is embodied in You. 

then now as i’m reading thru my previous entry, i also realise it’s not just that Satan’s the opposite of evil and that he’s actively opposing You.. but much worse than that, he has seen Your goodness and glory, and what he’s doing now is pure contempt for who You are, worsened to the infinity by the goodness of who You are and the worth of praise. he was after all 2nd to only You. and pride truly was the cause of his fall.. oh Lord, let me never be enticed away from Your grace by my prideful nature!

‘how you have fallen from heaven, o morning star, son of the dawn! you have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! you said in your heart, “i will ascend to heaven; i will raise my throne above the stars of God; i will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain. i will ascend above the tops of the clouds; i will make myself like the Most High.” but you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit.’ (isaiah 14:12-15)

Satan would NOT be appreciative of being “saved” cos he hates You in Your glory!! but for us, we have not seen Your glory, we do not know You as You are...even for adam and eve, they walked with You in the cool of the garden, but they never saw You face to face...and they must have regretted their act of disobedience for i doubt they hated You. but with You there is forgiveness, therefore You are to be feared..
