God's compassion and mercy

“It doesn’t depend on man’s desire but on God’s mercy.”

Our forgiveness of sins and enabling to come into the Father’s presence are all dependent totally on God & His merciful nature. But it doesn’t mean that man doesn’t have to seek but just sit and wait in a “it’s all up to God to touch me now/ prove Himself” attitude.

Man’s desire and man’s seeking are sometimes ingredients to “moving God’s heart”, though at the end of the day, it’s not as if God is bound to our whims and fancies. He chooses whom to answer & yet what would stop a loving Father when He hears earnest cries??

Compassion has to be fulfilled in suffering.

To the extent that the one in need is suffering, that is the extent that the compassionate one can fully realise his role.
